The major complaint is the person posing as police or military send disturbing and hateful messages to military personnel and their friends. If you have been a victim of one of these hate mongers with fake IDs. Always feel free to contact me and I will do the best I can to help shut the haters yahoo page down.I recommend leaving the hate message on your page and contact me and yahoo "report abuse" at yahoo report abuse be sure and mention it is a hate message and leave it on your page so they and I can see and investigate it. I would also say it may be good if you note a response weather it be in mypage comments or Blog comments leave a message adjacent to it and Note that you have contacted yahoo in regards to the message and for your friends to be patient and aware of why you left the hate message. Give us week sometimes longer. Also do not contact or leave a message on a hate mongers site/Blog. They feed off that and you basically are putting fuel on the fire and giving them what they want. Put the profile on ignore so the person can not re-post to your page and let your friends know. Often times the hate mongers will target your friends list if you do leave a comment on their page. So you can see its best to leave it to reporting the abuse for you and your friends sake. One thing you can do is make a fake ID if you wish to expose a fake ID. Then they wont be able to go after your friends. Also if you get a second ID shut down well np eh..... you still have your main yahoo ID and your friends intact..................

Click here for the full article by Ian Bach and also further discussion and comments at Yahoo
Home Page: www.ianbach.com - Mani Blog: http://blog.360.yahoo.com/ianbach
Ian Bachhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00431171935529871432noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8856167500226156894.post-72708448057864201522007-07-16T00:21:00.000-07:002007-07-16T00:28:56.913-07:00Terrosists Propaganda vs Facts - Muslims and the different SectsYes much is lies. Think of it like Nazi's / Gerbil Propaganda. They twist truth into lies and lies into truths. Think of it like Nazi's / Gerbil Propaganda. They twist truth into lies and lies into truths. When I saw how much the Media was focusing on Iraq and all the propaganda which after a while I could spot easy. This is when I felt al Qaeda is worried they will not win in Iraq. Also the inflation in Iran is starting to make the people unhappy with their government, especially the young Muslims in Iran; many listen to Heavy metal music. That started about 10 years ago. About 5 years ago Rap Music became popular among young Muslims.

This is not just in Iran; it is in Serbia, Palestine, Syria, and many Muslims Nations. They do this knowing that the door may be kicked in at any moment and they could be shot and killed just for the music they listen to. We are seeing now in Iran they want the youths to stop dressing like westerners. I am not sure how bad that is going ATM in Iran. But in many Muslim countries they have religious cops that will beat people for doing things that they feel are not the Muslim way. But the Muslim faith has many arms/sects. The Muslims in Kurdish areas of Iraq believe deeply that they should accept all faiths. Many or maybe even most of the approximately 15 different Muslims sects don't think that some Kurds are true Muslims. They even have stories of one sect in Kurdish area that they say is devil worshipers. But it is more because the Kurds practice a thing I forget what Muslims call it, but basically it is a practice of hiding ones true beliefs. This is mostly done to prevent fundamental type sects or groups or movements from knowing they are a particular sect and out of fear of being killed for ones beliefs.

Look at Iraq or Afghanistan they have many sects of the Muslim faith. The civil war is not because all Shia hate all Sunni or visa versa. No, No, No….. It is some clerics, Imams, etc., who want more power and want to have influence or be the Big Man. This is the Biggest Problem but I think they will solve it because there is no other way. In both Afghanistan and Iraq almost every citizen has some family member that is Sunni on one side and Shia on other side. Before Saddam and while Saddam was in power the Sunni and Shia lived in relative peace did not see a big difference or need to hate the each other. Many Muslims believe the Quran teaches acceptance of other faiths. But Bin Laden and Wahhabia do not believe this they are the terrorists they preach hate. Wahhabism is not a religious Sect it is a movement to attain power. Presently the Saudi Royal Family is flanked by Wahhabia. Even in the rural areas of UAE has Wahhabia to some extent and it this is growing since the gap between rich and poor is so wide. The Saudi King has done some amazing things that no one thought could happen before. He has reached into Palestine even and throughout Muslim sects. This many Muslims believe is because he wants to have a good name before he dies.
Home Page: www.ianbach.com - Mani Blog: http://blog.360.yahoo.com/ianbach
Ian Bachhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00431171935529871432noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8856167500226156894.post-7344562919110281752007-06-25T10:16:00.000-07:002007-06-27T23:45:51.577-07:00Taliban - Pashto - "seekers of knowledge"The Taliban (Pashto: طالبان, "students" or "seekers of knowledge") are a fundamentalist Sunni Muslim and ethnic Pashtun movement that ruled most of Afghanistan from 1996 until 2001, when their leaders were removed from power by American aerial bombardment and Northern Alliance ground forces.

"This is the flag or banner that the Taliban and al-Qaeda are waving. It sounds like a good thing (seekers of knowledge), But the truth is these fundamentalist join al-Qaeda for what ever their reason. Then they attend schools that teach the Qur'an in a twisted way. They take certain passages from the Qur'an. They use the same tactics that the Nazi's used during World War II. Basically get young minds and twist them and brain wash them into beliefs that make them believe that the World and the Jews and Christians are trying to take over the World. The truth is these groups wish to expand their power and take over the governments of nations. They are active all over the world but most active in the Middle East, North Africa, and Southeast Asia, and then the world. - Ian Bach"

Some smaller groups of the Taliban are currently engaged in a protracted guerrilla war against allied NATO forces and the current government of Afghanistan. While in power, the Taliban implemented the "strictest interpretation of Sharia law ever seen in the Muslim world," and became notorious internationally for their treatment of women.

Women were forced to wear the burqa in public. They were allowed neither to work nor to be educated after the age of eight, and until then were permitted only to study the Qur'an. Women seeking an education were forced to attend underground schools, where they and their teachers risked execution if caught. They were not allowed to be treated by male doctors unless accompanied by a male chaperon, which led to illnesses remaining untreated. They faced public flogging in the street and public execution for violations of the Taliban's laws.

( Click Here for the complete story )
Home Page: www.ianbach.com - Mani Blog: http://blog.360.yahoo.com/ianbach
Ian Bachhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00431171935529871432noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8856167500226156894.post-17561951603822545462007-06-25T10:13:00.000-07:002007-06-25T10:16:12.969-07:00PashtunsMonday, June 25, 2007

The vast majority of Pashtuns can be found in an area stretching from southeastern Afghanistan to western Pakistan. The special included info about the gold treasure (this was priceless history from about 500 AD), it also included the giant Buddha that may be safely hidden under the sands of time near where the two giant Buddha had been destroyed by the Taliban, and the national Film Archive that the Taliban attempted to burn all films but the people at the film archive saved the negatives and kept them hidden, knowing if they were found the Taliban would burn them with the film history of Afghanistan. There was also a short bit about Ahmed Shah Massoud. The part about Ahem Shah Massoud was of particular interest to me [from a military tactics aspect] and I researched it heavily. Here are some links…..Ian Bach

http://www3.nationalgeographic.com/places/countries/country_afghanistan.html

http://magma.nationalgeographic.com/ngm/0311/feature2/

After seeing this PBS special I felt a deep connection to the freedom loving Afghan people. Here is a short video (not related to the PBS special but still good). http://ianbach.com/ahmed-shah-massoud/afghanistan.wmv. I am trying now to find the time to make a small file or files of the 1 hour PBS special.

When I began researching into the life of Ahmed Shah Massoud also known as the “Lion of Panjshir”, I was sad to see such a potential military ally killed by the Taliban two days before 911. See the info I found at:

http://www.ianbach.com/ahmed-shah-massoud/

Raffaele Ciriello (deceased) a photo journalists’ last interview with Mr. Massoud.

http://www.raffaeleciriello.com/site/pw/sto/46.0010massudeng.arc.html

After much research into Afghanistan and Ahmed Massoud, I knew I wanted to help. I began to find and shut down web sites of terrorists. I also began to influence various new media organizations that they must report more on the good things we are doing in Iraq and Afghanistan. Later I put comments that would lead to awareness on issues within and outside of Iraq and Afghanistan.

After reviewing methods of counterinsurgency by Roger Trinquier, I found out where we need to focus our efforts. I am working to create public awareness now on various aspects that we can and need to change on how we wage war and how we interact with local citizens and local insurgents. I have found a reason to wake up in the morning. This is now my full time job and I will not stop. I make no money from this, nor do I wish to. I wish to bring hope to Iraq, Afghanistan, and the World. I continue to influence various News Media organizations and push them to report on the issues that the American public and the World is must know so they can make informed choices.

Update 4-15-2007 Note: when I wrote this I was aware our military had been changing tactics to match the situation, but I did not know how well nor how through/complete it has been. Let me inform you it has changed and will continue to. Our military, Iraqs army and police retrain even if they have been in Iraq on 2 , 3 or 4 Tours of duty. We regulary retrain our men now. This is to say that we need to invest in recruting inhabitants to become informants. This I have translated for today as follows: setup the cells (2-3 men) of informants (these are the inhabitants that we establish as those who are in the know and of tribal/local influence) - district, block, section of block. We (the USA, Iraq, Afghanistan, and other Nations) have been training Police and Army but we need to train and back Informants, Interrupters, Government Personnel, Secret Service, etc. (unless we already are and I don't know yet). The informants then can call or message any of the following 1-police, 2-military, 3-local government, (later we can expand local government to a more diverse structure to include more ways to help the districts and informants - listed in order of importance of which first to implement i.e., most critical - but not laid in concrete) 4-argicultural (food/water), 5-shelter, 8-employment, 9-medical, 10-educational, 11-secret service. With these services available over time based on informants' performance, any country can fight an insurgency.

Today's military must adjust and entrench within it's ranks the governmental influences (as discussed above 1-12) to aid the informants, police, and military. Without this we are fighting blind.

Ian Bach Note: I know the article I linked above is mostly military in nature and Trinquier does mention torture as ok since the combatants are not in military dress, but today that part is out of date. But overall he has written the best on this topic and it's a blown away feel first time anyone reads it. As he saw modern warfare after WW2 as not being tanks but being terrorist and cells, and it looks like Taliban and Al Qaeda took a page from his book.

Professor Nagl's War
Major John Nagl also has been a great source of information on counterinsugency methods. Most sources I have seen and interigations suggest clearer ties with insurgents and Syria. This would indicate Groups like Al Qaeda in Syria could be funding the insurgents as well as various Iraqi local governments, and other influntial parties vieing for more power. But just as if Canada was attacked some Americans and it's military personnel would most likely help arm civilians. But most of the insurgents interogated have talked more about ties to Syria not Iran.

Dollars or Jihad?
Iraqis are getting paid between $100 and $200 (250,000 Iraqi dollars) each attack weather lobbing a grenade in the green zone (IZ), killing an Iraqi police officer, or Iraqi civilians.

Here is a portion of an insurgent being interogated:

Officer: were you doing these killings for Jihad?
Criminal: yes Sir.
Officer: for Jihad or for money?
Criminal: for both Sir.
Officer: how could Jihad be paid for!!
Criminal: (no answer)
Officer: you're Muslim?
Criminal: yes
Officer: on ID card, huh?
Criminal: yes
Officer: do you pray or go to the mosque?
Criminal: no
Officer: do you drink?
Criminal: yes Sir.
Officer: so you don't pray and you don't go to the mosque and you drink and you kill for money and after all this you call your evil doings Jihad?!!!
